Open AI, the company behind chat GPT launches its latest Large Language Model (LLM) that powers Flagship modelcGPT-4o (“o” for “omni”) which is faster, smarter  with much more capabilities for working with audio, video and text, means All-In-One package. Earlier, GPT-4 can only work with texts.

"GPT-4o reasons across voice, text, and vision. And with this incredible efficiencies, it also allows us to bring the GPT-4o intelligence to our free users. This is something we have been trying to do for many, many months." CEO chief technology officer Mira Murati said at the OpenAI Spring Update event.

The company in a blog post stated that GTP-4o achieves GPT-4 Turbo-level performance on text, reasoning, and coding intelligence, while setting new high watermarks on multilingual, audio, and vision capabilities.

It compares the performance of its previous releases and its rivals like Google Gemini

Company stated that they have 100M+ users for creating, learning and working with chatGPT

1. With GPT Store, you have access to over 1 Million GPT which can be used to create content. For example podcasters can use GPT-4o to create content for their audience, professors can use it to create content for their students.

2. Audio and video functionalities will come gradually to developers and selected partners, ensuring that each modality (voice, text-to-speech, vision) meets the necessary safety standards before full release.
